The route is developed close to the Raveo village; there, you'll not find very high mountains but you'll see very nice landscape and a lot of huts (stavoli) that you'll meet along roads and trails. The track goes across woods and lawns, it doesn't have physical and technical strong efforts: it's suitable for everybody.
The path contains tarmed parts, dirt parts and a short trail part, very easy. The only route's problem is located between Raveo village and Valdie huts: high slope and road bottom with large gravel. If it is wet, will make the tires slide. Picture number 4 shows this part of the route. Anyway, you can skip it, keeping the tarmac road: longer but with a lower slope. It is pointed out with road signs and you can show it, e.g., in Tabacco map number 13.
This route is suitable for all of the seasons. It is 23 km long, a 950 m of altitude gain.
Valcalda, Teglara and Sciara Mounts.
The route Val d'Arzino - M.ga Teglara is developed over there.
Trail of the first descent, that goes to Enemonzo village.
Rain water has ruined the path bottom, which is anyway easily travelable with mtb.
Picture of the way between Enemonzo and Maiaso villages, which is initially in tarmac and after in gravel.
This road is, about, half on tarmac, half on gravel or trail.
The uphill after Raveo village, that brings to Valdie huts.
The slope is very high; the main problem come from the road bottom with large gravel, you can slide there a lot if the bottom is wet.
The end part of this slope.
You can avoid this part, keeping the tarmed road from Raveo village, with lowed slope, that reconnects with navi track close to the Valdie huts.
Here you turn to a dirt road which, without high slopes, goes up toward Pani di Raveo huts. You can reach then also going on the tarmac road on.
Along the uphill between Valdie and Pani di Raveo huts.
The storical Pani di Raveo hut.
Very interesting for the legend which describes it and... the begin of the descent.
A landscape picture taken close to the hut.
Part of the downhill trail from the Colza mount.
Very easy and quite flat.
