Path, direction, suggestion

Description

The itinerary as a starting point in Magnano in Riviera village, just like the path "Magnano - Path", repeating the whole climb, changing the route of descent. There are several uphill variables but all have a part on tarmac.

It's fair to describe the difficulties presented by two parts with high slope, especially the first one, located at the beginning of the dirt road, leaving the village. In general, the route doesn't present any dangerous or exposed paths.

During the descent you find a crossroad, close to an old shed. The left trail is the one of the page of the link in the first paragraph. This page route instead is on the trail on the right of the shed, alongside the dirt road. The path has some uphills and descents, arriving so to a three-ways crossroad (Picture 6). Now you have three options: the path/road on left goes to the Feait Mount peak with a really bad road bottom, the one on the right goes down to the valley begin, climbing after uphill of about 100 metres joining so the main road. Instead, in front there's the dirt-tarmac road, closed to traffic, included in the navigator track.

At a certain point the navi path turns left to take a path, all feasible, although presenting a few tens of metres with many stones. For MTB without suspension systems is advisable to continue along the dirt road, the trail rejoins the road.

The trail crosses a bridge, starts to climb again, both by bike and on foot, to reach the dirt road that leads to Magnano. The route is 25 km long, 700 m elevation gain.

Dirt road attack.

Could be good a warm up before starting the path.

Another picture of the beginning part of the trail, before reaching the main road.

When you'll see it by person, you would be less happy.

Stream on the side of the road.

Rise along the main road.

There are some plain parts, where you can rest a bit.

Main road.

It doesn't bring technical or physical effort problems.

Descent crossroads.

Explanation in the description.

The first part of the trail.

Nice but with a disconnected bottom.

A part of the trail had been stolen.

Whatever, you can cross it anyway.

Apart the dog gaze "Hey, go on!"...

the picture had been taken to show the uphill part that connects the path to the dirt road. On the Tabacco map, this trail is drawn as a road, instead, as you can see, it is a path. It is travelable by bike or on foot - with a lot of effort.
