MTB Friuli ASD

A travel from the austrian mountain city of Salzburg, hometown of the Mozart, to the italian seaside city of Grado, also known as Isola del Sole (Sun Island) or Prima Venezia (First Venice). We bike along bike paths and dirt roads. We do the overnight stay in campings, growing together an unforgettable experience. One week by bike discovering the beauties across the Alpe Adria Cycle Path, "Cycleway of the Year" in Amsterdam in 2015.
We will explore, observe, appreciate all the beauties, such as the Hohe Tauern and the Salzach and Gastein rivers and Carinthia. We cross the centers of Spittal an der Grau and Villach, arriving to Tarvisio. We proceed along the old railway along the Canal del Ferro Valley inside the Julian Alps, surrouded by peaks and waterfalls. Passage to the beautiful historic towns of Gemona del Friuli, Venzone, Udine, Palmanova and Aquileia, Unesco heritages. The arrival is in Grado, an island in the northern gulf of the Adriatic Sea.
An itinerary that offers interesting as well as unforgettable attractions, both historical and naturalistic, scattered throughout the development.

With the Microcosm route, we present an enterprise with wilderness, with historical points and, above all, with the difference in accommodation.
The Microcosm track runs counterclockwise around the perimeter of Friuli, thus exploring many of its numerous unique environments described below. But there's something more. For the most part without even passing through towns, carrying out this journey establishes a unique relationship between the participants and that extends to the people you meet, who cannot resist your smiles: we build a microcosm.

I think it's enouth. Nothing more is need to explain this travel's beauty.
Even if it's long and hard and both technical and physical training are needed, everything is sheltered by amazing views all across the journey.
This is confirmed since we already did this travel several times. 2019 and 2022 are reported below.

ConTOUR FVG it's an amazing trail: a 9 days scheduled travel on the perimeter of Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Additionally are there some kilometers in Slovenia state and Veneto region, over running along Italy-Austria borderline at South side of Coglians Mount Group.
The crossed territories variety is really wide: sandy coast, Carso - high and rocky coast, plain and Collio. After you arrive to Pedemontana, the begin of the mountains and so to Giulie Alps and Carniche Alps: different space for structure but similar for their common beauty and contained wood and lawn habitat. The return begins in the Cadore area, territory famous for Dolomites, reaching after Cansiglio Forest and descending to Meduna and Cellina Magredi. In a few kilometers you arrive to risorgive, proceeding so to Marano Lagoon and reaching, finally, the starting point, close to the sea.
Moreover, the itineray passes through a lot of historical cities, visiting two millenium of history.
